Logan neighborhood: a great place to live and grow!

Last week, I did some door-to-door outreach in the Logan neighborhood prior to holding my mobile office at Donut Parade. I spoke with many residents who are very satisfied with their neighborhood. Things they love? Good relationships with their neighbors, walkability, access to services. They commented on several ways to improve their environment: getting rid of graffiti on adjoining properties, calming traffic on residential streets, code enforcement on certain properties that have a lot of outdoor storage in their yards.

I came upon Alex, who turned half of his front lawn into a garden last year. He and his dog were busy tilling the soil and caring for the growing plants. What a great way to lower your grocery bill and not have to water/mow grass if you don’t want to. Here’s to my resourceful neighbors!

I agree! I loved living there during grad school and that I could walk to GU and St. Al’s. Glad things are going well.
